How We Work
Our reasons for becoming financial professionals are deeply personal. We repeatedly saw many friends and family struggling to find the help they needed to map out their financial future. We are confident that with our understanding of personal finance, coupled with our training as financial professionals, we can help people better prepare for the future. After years in the business, we have developed a reputation for educating individuals in an easy-to-understand manner so they can grasp personal finance and use those concepts to pursue their financial objectives. James E. White Jr
Owner/President
Jim started his career in the financial service industry over 30 years ago. In June of 2021 he formed his own Independent financial firm, JW Wealth Management. Jim primarily works with high-net-worth individuals, families, middle-market companies, and foundations. Due to the nature of his clients, Jim tends to be conservative in his approach. He seeks to limit risks and losses to preserve wealth.
Jim specializes in municipal bonds, managed equity portfolios, and retirement planning. He is FINRA registered and holds Series 7, 52, 63, 65, and SIE licenses with LPL Financial. He is also a licensed agent for Life Insurance in the states of Florida, New Jersey, New York, and Delaware.
Jim was born in Summit, New Jersey. He attended St. John's University where he earned a BS degree in Finance with a minor in Economics. As of January, 2020, Jim and his family left New Jersey for the warmer climate in Lakewood Ranch, FL. Jim is married with four children, three girls and a boy.
In his free time, Jim enjoys spending time with his family. He loves baseball whether it be playing, coaching, or attending his son's games or attending MLB games. He also enjoys watching his daughters play soccer and swim. He likes playing golf and reading books.
